  •  Trees provide food for people and animals.
  •  Trees reduce air pollution and prevent erosion. 
  •  Trees provide shelter from the hot sun and rain. 
  •  Wind and noise is blocked by trees.
  •  Animals use trees as a place to live.
  •  Trees look beautiful, and smell good too! Some have  beautiful flowers.

What animals live in trees?

Many animals make their home in a tree or among the tree tops. Trees make a great shelter from  weather and help protect animals from dangerous predators. Some animals that live in trees are birds, frogs, squirrels, koalas, monkeys and snakes. Can you think of more?

What kind of fruits grow on trees?

Many kind of fruits grow on trees, examples of fruits that grow on trees are: bananas, apples, oranges, peaches and plums.
But be careful! You cannot eat all the fruits that grow on trees or bushes, never pick and eat fruits without asking your parents!!
